Yes. I also work the long hours at a polling place on election day. The years that i did not vote i did not complain about who was president and how the country was being ran. I also realize that it is not only our "right" to vote but it is our responsibility. My one vote may not matter to some people but it does matter to me.

Of course. Why wouldn't someone vote? It takes about five minutes of their time. If you don't vote, you have no right to complain about the state of affairs in this country.
I not only vote, but I walk for my candidates, go to their fundraisers, drive around with bumper-stickers, and put signs in my front lawn. It is an important part of being an American!!
Jack: How do you know if it is a close election until after the results are in? You are a lame-brain for not voting, whether your vote is "useless" or not. You never know. Perhaps the libs will feel it is a lock and NOT vote... don't be a dumbass and waste your voice!

No. I only vote in the Presidential Election. I am a conservative living in a liberal state. I see no point in wasting my time voting for the local conservatives knowing they will lose anyways. If its ever a close election here, I will vote.

I have voted in every election. I feel that it is every person responsibility to step and take what little partcipation we get in gov. I also agree with the statement if you don't vote don't complain about who get elected. It is every person's duty to get involed in some way with their own lives. Some people say, my one vote don't matter, well just imagine if everyone who said that voted, that many votes could make a differance.

Yes, I always vote, if I didn't I do not feel I would have the right to complain about whatever the elected people are doing.

YES, I always vote... but this time it will be different...
I refuse to vote for the lesser of two evils anymore... I will leave the position blank if I do not approve of the candidates/pablum offered.
I don't like politicians who flutter on issues like leaves in the wind, I want someone who says what they mean and means what they say.
The southern border of the USA is the major issue in my view. Iraq and the Arab terrorists will not define the future of the USA, the southern border will.... we can leave Iraq and the Middle East, the USA is a different matter, it is our home.

Absolutely. It's because people don't vote that we have such a low quality of leadership in our country. The Patiot Act is good evidence of that. I encourage all who can to THINK about what you are voting for and to LOOK beyond the face of the point and go and vote for your right to participate in a FREE society that is becoming more and more restricted everyday.

You bet. The candidates may be identical, interchangable and unspeakable and seemingly not worth the time it would take,BUT,the propositions, proposals, amendments and bond issues and whatnot are definitely worth your consideration. Some of the money 'they' intend to spend is YOURS, and you have a right to your yea or nay. If you don't exercize it, shame on you. Don't vote? Don't complain.

Absolutely. The more people vote, the more they are listened to. Sadly since so few people bother, the politicians don't care what you think. If we had about a 90% turn out they would listen.

Yes, of course. Even if I am just one person, I want my opinion to be heard. People can't complain about the government if they don't vote.
