i dont know how to go about figuring out where they store or keep them for me to go there and get me a copy of it!

Every state has a different department that issues certified copies of birth certificates. Contact the department of vital statistics in the state and county you were born and ask them what the procedure is. You can order one online from

The only place to get a birht certificate with the raised seal is the City County Building in which you or your child was born

you are referring to a notarized document . . you should call your local governmant office to find out what the procedure is . . it costs something but is relatively straightfoward to obtain
