Family does not have to be blood related. I call my closest friends my brothers and sisters. My parents now were friends of my biological parents. They took me in. They are my family

call social services in your area, and tell them your situation. Your guardian or whoever raised you may be able to help you.

I am so sorry you lost your family. Start with your parents birth and death records. Look for an obituary on them. Go back to the place where they lived and see if there is any neighbors who knew your parents. Look for some family friends who can give you some information. You can also go to the church where your parents went.
Keep looking the information is out there.

You start at the tedious beginning. You know your parents, so get their birth certificates. That will give you their parents names. And you work backward with documents like that. Maybe you can find your parents marriage certificate, that will give you some information also. Keep working backwards, until you can work forward for cousins.
Also, you can post your questions on various Genealogy web sites. Look at Ancestry.com, and others like that.

Your *new* parents should be able to tell you last names, and then google away!
