I would try eBay online... there should be a huge selection. You can also try to find "high end" resale shops in your area. Most wedding gowns have only been worn once (if that- sometimes a wedding is called off and the dress is sold for a lot less than it was bought for!!!) You can also look for bridal outlets in your area... Good luck and happy hunting!

Check to see if there is a JCPenney's outlet store in your area. The last time we stopped at one (in Columbus, OH) they had a ton of beautiful wedding dresses for really good prices. (I don't need a dress, but I enjoy looking at them.)
We bought the bridesmaid's dresses for our wedding there years ago. They were the same style and almost the exact same color that I picked out at the bridal salon, but I only had to pay $10 apeice for them. At the bridal salon, they were $250 each.

This might sound bad but some second hand shops have wedding gowns (only been worn once or not at all) and they are gorgeous!!! Just a suggestion.
Also, go to your local bridal shop and ask them for their sales or if they take in "second hand" dresses.
Good luck!

Check out Dreams by Renee http://www.dreamsbyreneebridal.com They have some absolutely gorgeous dresses PLUS they can make custom dresses based on drawings and/or pictures at reasonable prices! Just to let you know, the prices listed on their site is suggested retail and since I am an authorized rep, I can offer discounts on all of their dresses. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.
Good luck!

My friend, who recently got married, found her dress at a local flea market. Actually, she found three (3) dresses and had a seamstress combine them for one (1) fantastic garment! It took a little bit of vision and creativity on the part of the seamstress, but once she got it...she got it! SO...consider going to a local flea market as you search for a cost-smart wedding dress!
P. S. After all was said and done, my friend spent nearly $200.00 and she looked like a million bucks!

I got a beautiful wedding dress (worth over $5000.00) for my wife (then fiance) for $125 off of eBay. The person's wedding never happened or whatever. It cost a little bit to have it fitted just right, but it was perfect on our wedding day.
