Stir fry the mushrooms and pepper in olive oil and garlic. Toss with hot pasta. Everyone has a bag of pasta in the house. If not do the same thing and serve on a bun or toast.

Mushroom & pepper soup. Lightly fry mushrooms & pepper.
Add milk, flour, pinch of salt to a saucepan, let come to boil, then simmer.
Add mushroom & peppers, simmer for abot 10 minutes.
If not just use water , but only enough to cover ingredients, but let flavours condense into the water.

That's it! No butter? No milk? Flour? Salt? Garlic?

I was going to say, sauteed mushrooms with a hint of pepper, but it won't be very tasty without some other ingredients.

chopped lightly fried mush and peppers (so they dont shrink to much - you cant afford much shrinkage to be taking place i dont think!!) in a cheese sauce (granules like!) and chucked on a couple of slices of toast - or tonnes of pasta if you have it cos you are going to be very hungry. Otherwise ring the local chines/kebab/pizza/curry delivery and let your mushrooms shrivel for one more day.
