To Get a Girl (According to Shettles):

* Have intercourse 2-3 days before ovulation and avoid intercourse just before ovulation until 2 days after ovulation and when you have peak cervical fluid: The idea is that when you have sex a few days before ovulation, only the X-chromosome “girl sperm” will be left in the female reproductive tract waiting to fertilize the egg when it is released.
* Have intercourse with shallow penetration: Shettles recommends “missionary position”or any position that will deposit the sperm slightly away from the cervix, giving advantage to the longer living, but slower X-chromosome-carrying sperm.
* Women avoid orgasm: Shettles suggests women avoid orgasm because it makes the vaginal environment more alkaline, and less acidic and is disadvantageous to the X-chromosome “girl sperm”.

Stories have it that male sperm are week and females are stronger. So, your sex can determine what you will have. If the woman gets work up, her body heat will kill off the male sperm. Poor sex leaves the woman's body cool so the male sperm who swim faster can produce a male child. I don't know how much truth this has, but has proved true for me and others I know willing to discuss this topic!

There has been gender selection, though I'm assuming it's super expensive. It involves in-vitro fertilization and implanting a developing embryo that has XX chromosomes, and I don't know how available it is

maybe is you have sex a few days before your fertile because girl sperm are bigger so live longer but they are slower swimmers so if you have sex to close to fertilization you may get a boy either way you'll be happy
