I'm surre you read the metaphor question. A disproportionate response is to be expected if Palestinians and Hezbo continually provoke. If they're going to do that why do they come whining to the international community, when Israel finally smaks them hard?

Terrorists attempt to incite fear, yet when they're attacked they go crying to the UN!
On 9/11 we lost thousands of innocent civilians. We retaliated by taking over two countries and thousands of lives have been lost due to those conflicts.
That's why we (the US) can't talk about "proportionate response". Proportionate response is for those who wish to lose the war on terror. The only way we can win is to eliminate as many terrorists as possible. That is what Israel is trying to do.
For those of you who want to blame Israel for bringing this on themselves (since they exist), you can shove it. Israel has made many attempts to bring peace to the region by giving the Palestinians their own county. What do terrorists say to this? They will not stop fighting until Israel does not exist anywhere in the world. Unreasonable is the most complementary word I can use to describe these despicable terrorists. They hate everyone who isn't a Muslim (and some Muslims too)! You can't try to be "fair" with them.

I answered your other question. If you beat someone today, is it not logical that they might try to beat you tomorrow? Go back and do some history studying and find out who was the first one to offend.
Remember, time doesn't start when you say it starts. You can't start history 2 years back. Go all the way back.
Rwebgirl, you can shove your logic up your *** as well. Like I just said, you can't introduce arbitrary stop signs in a historical timeline at your will.

So Israel occupied a country and no one caresm but as soon as a resistance develops in that country it is called a "terrorist" group. Isn't that convenient? Why are you such hypocrites?

There was a kid once who came nome from school for about a week and a half with a bloody nose, EVERY day. His dad finally asked him what was going on. The boy told his dad that another boy was punching him in the nose. Dad told his son, "Well, just poke him back" (meaning to punch the kid back).
The next day, the man's son quiet literally "poked" the other boy in the nose- touched the neighbor-boy's nose with his finger. The neighbor boy started crying and ran home.
The next day, a very angry mother called the father, "Do you know what YOUR son did to MY son today???!?"
The father said, "Do you know what YOUR son has been doing to MY son FOR THE LAST WEEK AND A HALF?"
The dad in this story is my father-in-law... the son is one of my brothers-in-law.
Has anyone asked Hezbola why they're all pissed off?

i dont think that its right n logic either, i also think that this is a perfect example of what is going on around the world in most countries which isnt right n it shud be stopped too coz it is also one way or the other that this thing also violates human rights! every human is equal as we all believe and we also have to! hop this helps!
