Actually, nothing gets you as high as heroin. Personally, I just don't recommend getting high in the first place. Anything that compels you to escape reality and crave only it probably isn't the most healthy thing, whether you're talking Jesus or crack rock.
So, really, no I don't want Jesus to save me. I'm kind of hoping to deal with reality as it is and not have someone try and take my pain and regret away. You see, knowing remorse and evil clarifies why others things are good and meaningful. If someone took those away from me, I would be losing a valuable and important part of myself. I think I'd rather stay intact.

I am glad that you have been saved, but I do not think that you should say that you are sin free. Everyone sins and comes short of the Glory of God. Just because you have accepted Jesus does not mean that you are automatically perfect. Jesus is the only one that was perfect, is perfect and ever will be perfect.

Jesus is not a drug, and the bible assures us that anyone who says they are without sin is lying. Even Paul, the great apostle, struggled with sin. Jesus is the savior, but we need to remain humble and not brag about our righteousness. That is what the pharisees of Jesus' time did and He called them a brood of vipers and white-washed tombs.
To: ikyoto99us - mistakes are not the same thing as sin. Mistakes are mistakes, they do not imply unrighteousness in the least. Sin is sin and we all do that when we are tempted and dragged away by our own evil desires.
SOURCE for above comment: James 1: 13-15
13When tempted, no one should say, "God is tempting me." For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone; 14but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. 15Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.

I am glad you found the peace that passes understanding. As you can see not everyone will agree with you. It is now your job to be an example to the naysayers. An example of non-judgemental love. Be careful not to become high and mighty. Also watch for hard times when Jesus will help you become stronger in your faith. The harder things are, the more you need to rely on Jesus. Don't get frozen in fear. Walk and He will light your path. He will never forsake you.

No one can be absolutely sin free. It is foolish and arrogant to think so. There's good and bad in everybody, and humans aren't perfect. All you can do is live the best life you can and ask God to guide you.
I don't mean to be negative or rain on your parade. It just annoys me when people scream and shout that they never do anything wrong.

No man is free of sin or we would be Christ. It's good to try to be sin free as best as possible though, but it is not possible to be 100% sin free.

Ahhhhh....I think you're a little confused. I am a born again Christian and I know for certain I am not "sin free". Jesus died for our sins and accepting Him as our savior washes us clean....that doesn't mean we will never sin again.

Save me from what? Being human?
If you believe the bible, then god made us imperfect and then (knowing what we would do as god is supposed to know everything) punished us for it. If you could make a person and know what they are going to do, would you make them so they would make mistakes and then punish them for the mistakes?
So what am I being saved from? Hell? Well, god made me knowing I would be imperfect, so which one of us is the real cause of sin?
