boys aren't the only ones who cheat..i cheated on my bf because of revenge and because i knew it was over. guys do it for sex. that it..plan and simple.

People cheat on each other, and give each other stupid excuses for having done so. You can't really ever know the actual reasons why, unless you are that person. Even then, people do things like this for reasons that even they don't understand.
Because men are genetically driven to pass their genes to as many willing females as humanly possible.
Women are genetically driven to do pretty much the same to keep as varied a gene pool as possoble.
People are just that... people. We are still "human animals", and we are driven by our genes and hormones as much as any other animal at times, especially in matters of relationships. As intelligent as humans are.. somethings happen in spite of all available logic and upbringing.
p.s. recent polls and studies have shown that men tend to me more monogamous than women, while the ladies tend to not only cheat more, but are more willing to blame their mates while hiding their own indiscretions from view.

Maybe it is better for the girls to look innocent than to be innocent.

Here are the stupid reasons:
(1) Girls like to steal other girl's boyfriends. (Look at the question by lynx_baby2010)
(2) Boys are easily distracted by any girl becoz girls are no longer magnetic!!!
(3) Boys think "variety is the spice of life".
(4) Girls think they can dump boys but cry foul when they are dumped.

Basically because, first of all they are immature and not ready for a real commitment and also that they care nothing about you, it is all about what they can get and how fast they can get it from you so they can move on to the next one. It's so, so, so sad. Please have more respect and dignity for yourself and choose your boyfriend carefully because you are a Jewel in the eye of God and you deserve the best, we all do! Don't cheat yourself out of real love and happiness for cheap thrills. God Bless You and hope you learn from this relationship and can apply it to the future ones.

My long-time boyfriend kissed another girl a few weeks ago but admitted it right away. His reason was because he's at the age where he's thinking about marriage and he needed to know if he really loved me. He got really freaked out when he realied how much he really does love me. Sometimes guys do stupid things subconsciously to figure out their feelings.

Let's be honest. Men regardless of age, will cheat on a woman, regardless of beauty, career, whatever, because the next woman is different than that woman. To accept this, is accept the power of knowing when to leave. You can understand the behavior, but you don't have to accept it.
