diet coke zero has splenda in it, diet coke has aspartame or whatever it's called.

The can is different. They are the same thing. It was a marketing thing to keep up with PEPSI 1, which had one calorie per can. Diet Coke has 0 calories so they renamed it Diet Coke 0.
