He is acting very weird. He's wobbeling around like he's drunk, but he's not. He'll just be walking and fall over and lay down. He doesn't care of you poke at him or anthing, he just lays there. Then he'll suddenly jump up and run around for a minute, then he'll run into something or fall to the ground. When he's just sitting still his head moves around like one of those bobble head dogs.

I think i'm going to take him to the vet as soon as i can leave work.

Any suggestions on what could be wrong, we cant find anything that he got into that could poison him, HELP

it's not anti-freeze, he's a house dog and is never outside without me or my fiance. it's not that he ate medicine, or cleaners, they are all put up, we have several animals and always keep things like that put away.

This also sounds like it could be a poisoning of sorts. Make sure that all chemicals and pharmaceuticals are always out of reach of dogs and kids...and where they can't find them either.

If it is a poisoning, it sounds mild, and he will likely be doing much better in a few hours. However, to be safe, I'd consult your verterinarian.

Good luck

Sounds like antifreeze poisoning to me. Get him to a vet asap, and even then the odds are against him. Dogs like the flavor or antifreeze, but it shuts down their liver. Do you use a swifer jet cleaner and solution???? A note to all who read this - the swifer cleaning solution contains the same chemicals that can be found in anitfreeze. If you use it on your floors, and then the pets walk on the floors, and then they lick their paws, they are slowly being poisoned - just as though it had drank antifreeze. Do not use that product and pass that along to everyone you know who owns a pet. Please let me know what the results are. Good Luck

Inner ear problems are much less common in dogs than in cats, but this is a possibility. If you're sure it isn't poisoning of some kind, or even if you are, take him to the vet promptly. Whether it's a serious problem or just something goofy like a bug in his ear, the sooner you see to fixing it, the better.

My dog had done something similar to this and we took him to the vet asap. after noticing it only a few min. we found out in our case that his kidney had burst, putting pressure into his spleen and that ruptured and leaked into his brain. It was his mind trying to do what it does naturally against his body dying. Our vet did not have the equipment necessary to diagnose him with this right away(we live in a small farm town), and we drove almost two hours to the nearest city, he hung on for almost another three hours while test were being ran. We put him out of his misery which was the hardest thing I have even had to do. Please get your dog to the vet ASAP, he could be suffering more horrible then you could ever imagine.

Get him to the vet ASAP...it sounds like some sort of poisoning. The sooner he gets medical treatment, the better his chances of survival.

Hard to say - sounds neurological or maybe seizure related. Not much info to work with. Get him to the vet ASAP!!!

I think you should call the VET immediately. There could be something serious wrong with him.
