Probably the politicians would stand around and argue with each other. Why shouldn't Isreal attack the terrorists? Hezbollah promised to disarm and the UN is there to help protect Isreal? Where's the action other than talk? Know your enemy. Islam will make any promise it wants but does NOT have to obey any UNLESS its with another Islam country / state. Soon you see peolple scolding Isreal for doing damage. Where is the real problem solvers and get Hezbollah out of Lebanon. Lebanon doesn't want Hezbollah out of the country. Thats the militia for them against Isreal yet can scream foul if Isreal reacts to any offense by Hezbollah. Whats the UN doing? Typical lip action and nothing more. Where's the UN to enforce the previous agreements? Oh yea.. its probably locked into a discussion and will never be acted upon.

The Democrats would hold up any retaliation in Congress, unless we have video footage of the terrorists attacking us, with signed affidavits from those terrorists confirming it was them. Even then, the liberal bloggers would claim that President Bush, Dick Cheney, and Karl Rove carried out the attack so they would have an excuse to invade Mexico and steal all their oil.
Israel learned long ago that Muslims are trying exterminate them and that they cannot rely upon anyone for help. So they are experts at defending themselves and at weakening people who threaten or attack them.
The U.N. is the most worthless entity on the planet. They're all thugs, cheats, and liars, and all they do is issue resolutions that everyone knows they're not willing to back up. Talk is cheap.
No one should feel sorry for Lebanon. They chose their ally - Hezbollah. When you lie down with dogs, you're likely to get fleas.

You're punishing a much larger quantity of people who have nothing to do with terrorism. In this country is it not better to set a guilty man free, than to incarcerate an innocent man? Why is it so easy to infiltrate the hard core police state of Israel? They seem to be pretty good about whiping some butt after the fact, but why so incompetent to begin with? Don't they know they are a target for terrorism by now? The US doesn't condone the needless loss of life. The Israelis are perfectly capable of finding these terrorists with ground troops. They are the best urban warfare troops in the world. The incessant bombing is unjustly punishing innocent people. What would have happened if some Americans were killed during these raids?

The good people of Mexico would never do that, but I see your point.
There wouldn't be 1200 rockets. It would take only one, and there would be a regime change in Mexico in about 4 hours.

A better question: what would America do if hundreds of Mexican suicide bombers destroyed our transprotation system by blowing up buses and trains, and blew themselves up in fast-food restaurants and banks; at concerts and schools and hospitals?
