I know for a fact that Jesus's name was not Jesus. In Greek it says Isa or Hebrew Iso. Jesus and his people did not speak English and neither did the previous Prophets of God.
All the other Prophets names were changed. There was no name back then such as John. It was Yahya.
Other Prophet 'Jacob' was Yaqub.
Other Prophet Joseph...was Yusuf...
I mainly want to know why Jesus name was changed. And why the Churches of today refer to him as Jesus and not Isa or Iso.

names are changed so that they came be pronounced by the people. It has been common practice through out history.
Here in the United States as immigrants came their names were almost all changed. My mothers family were Coren but immigration did not like that and changed it to Corn. The family did not like that and later had it changed back to Coren.
Another example would be Genghis Khan in the west we call him Gangus Khan.
Mongols were known as the Mongols while in Central Asia and the Middle East but when they went to India they were called Mughal.
Timur Leng became Tamerlane.
There are many examples through out history. The mane reason is so that the people can pronounce the words and relate to the people better.

You are WAY off jack. Jesus name might be Iso in Arabic bit not HEBREW! In Hebrew Jesus' name is "Yeshuah" and always has been. Where do you get your education from? Imams alone?
Your Imams throw you anything and you swallow it. ASK A JEW what the Hebrew Name if Jesus is. But you hate Jews (Jesus was a Jews I might add) with a blood lust, so you wont ask.
And Jesus in the Greek was not Isa. Read something besides the Muslim twisted version of history and manipulation of languages.
Sadly SOME unlearned Americans might even believe you without checking the facts. I guess thats what you're hoping for eh?

my name is benjamin, which LITERALLY means son of right (like right hand, not right-or-wrong).
when my name is spoken in english the J is pronounced like the first letter of the word "just" but in hebrew or arabic (for example) it is pronounced like the first letter of the word "yes" because those languages do not have that sound.
for jesus in particular his name meant "god saves" or "god's salvation" which could be interpreted "god with us" (immanuel). going from the hebrew to the greek they also kept the MEANING of his name as well as the numerical value of his name. each letter of the hebrew and greek alphabets has a numerical value, and certain lessons were taught using math and geometry.

Names are changed to better fit a culture. It makes it easier for that culture to relate and thus adapt to that religion.
