Some people can see them. My brother can see them. He always barfs when he sees me eating peanut butter and says, "How can you eat all those tiny microscopic worms?" but I just laugh at him. I suppose if I could see them then I would feel differently, but I have weak eyes. On the other hand, I have a wonderful sense of smell and I can smell the gasoline in his Kool-Aid and so I chuckle quietly to myself when I see him drinking that foul stuff, knowing that he is completely ignorant of the fact that if anybody flicked their BIC he would explode.

There may be a few tiny worms but they have had to have been in peanut from when he came out of the ground. The peanuts are washed thoroughly and then roasted at a high heat so any worms would be dead. Did you know that a human eats A POUND of dirt a year and does not know it- This is a true fact!!!! So what if peanut butter has a few cooked wee worms in it. They are not going to hurt you. FDA sees that all consumed human foods are ok so don t sweat it- What s a few wee critters that are harmless compaired to great peanut butter on toast or a peanut butter cookie???? There is dirt on everything as it is in the air we breath etc!

Peanut butter is made of peanuts and sometimes sugar, oil and such things as preservatives but never worms, not in North America at least! Nothing dangerous unless those products are to u. If you're talking about microscopic, then there are many things that can be seen! For example we have some parasites in/on our lashes and they love mascara! Nobody cares and most don't even want to know about it! Maybe your teacher used peanut butter to show you cells and how stuff looks strange under a microscope but don't worry about any worms if the pot is well closed ;-)

That is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. Peanut butter is made from mashed up peanuts.

That's crazy! Who told you that? It's made of peanuts, peanut oil, salt and sugar I have a jar right here and there is no listing of worms. Maybe I have a better brand than you?

Have you ever seen a peanut? Or cracked open a peanut shell? Did worms come slithering out? Ridiculous....

Don't you think the peanut butter would move off the toast if it was worms?

Um, I think it's peanuts and butter. Not worms.

Last I checked the label said it was made form Peanuts. I would stick with that theory.

I really don't think so. It's just ground up roasted peanuts (and trans fat if it's not natural peanut butter).
