Hong Kong!
Hong Kong has the big city specials like smog, odour, 14 million elbows and an insane love of clatter. But it's also efficient, hushed and peaceful: the transport network is excellent, the shopping centres are sublime, and the temples and quiet corners of parks are contemplative oases.
The best thing about being in Hong Kong is getting flummoxed and fired by the confluences and contradictions of a Chinese city with multi-Asian and Western elements. It's about savouring new tastes, weaving through a human gridlock and humming some dumb Cantopop tune while slurping your noodles.

I spent 3 weeks in Ghana (Takoradi, Accra, El Mina and other places in the south) and the Ivory Coast (Grand Bassam, Yamoussoukro, Abidjan). What an adventure to spend time in West Africa, and delighting in the friendly people, safe environs, rich history and culture, unused ocean beaches, the tragedy of the slave industry, the school uniforms of the children, the sweat-eating insects and fear in the tree canopies, the visit with a local chief and a tour of the area with his son, the villages where people live as they have for centuries, no speed limits on the roads, ice skating, thousands of bats, the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace which rivals the St. Peter's Basilica in Rome located in the middle of a farming town, sand in the food and skinny chickens. I could go on for much longer, but I will definitely go back to Ghana with my children so they can experience something unlike anywhere else in the world.

i just came back from Kona Hawaii. Me and my hubby spend 2 weeks overthere and we had a fantastic time there. I really love it there. I have also lived in Spain, and that is a place I love as well.
