Some people are so stupid I could laugh if it wasn't so sad.
Things people say and answered questions that people have entered, where do these people get their info from? and who ever answered a question starting with, dogs are colour blind, you are wrong! dogs can see some colour and see better in the dark then we do so there :-p

It would be much more helpful to not give any advice at all if you do not know anything about the topic. Most of the answers here are completely incorrect. Thankfully there is a handful of people here that do know what they are talking about. Hopefully the questioner is able to find their posts amidst all the bad advice.

dogs in theory can see better than us in the dark but only movement if a man stood still at say 100 metres the dog might not see him where another person might but if that man was to just move his fingers a little the dog would see this where the other man might not so in other words dogs are better at detecting movement than we are but not seeing better than us

This stupid discussion about dogs being colour blind, what does it matter, there not likely to worry about what colour something is, does any one really care. as much as i love my dogs it really dont matter to me.

Yeah, when i was at school my teacher told us that dogs are colour blind. And so did my parents. Does that answer your question? :-)

dogs ARE color blind, i.e. dalmations, can't distinguish between red and green.
and they do have better eyesight in the dark than we do.
