yes there is but have your doc put you on a diet according to your body your doc knows you best and what is best for you. And by you being pregnant you can't just follow any diet.

GOOD LUCK WITH THE DIET AND THE BABY

Being pregnant, I wouldn't try to lose weight. Maintain maybe. Or gain an even smaller amount. Only work at losing weight if your doctor recommends it and your doctor would be able to tell you the best way to do that. In the meantime, I'd simply eat the right sized portions of healthy food, drink lots of water, take a multivitamin and make sure to move on a regular basis. Even going for a leisurely stroll is good for you. If you weren't overly active before getting pregnant, I'd stick with a bit of walking (not power walking though). Working on healthy habits now will make it that much better and easier for you to lose the weight after you have the baby.

don't when you have the baby if you eat healthy and breastfeed you will loose weight with out doing anything. then when the baby gets bigger and it warms up outside put her in a carrier and take walks. when my little girl got about 6 months i would put her in the baby swing and i would swing myself really pulling my upper body up. and the walking did it for me. i lost 30 lbs in no time. but i did not diet while pregnant or a strick diet while breast feeding!

Do a LIGHT exercise regiment. I think walking would be great exercise. But always consult your doctor. He or she will most likely have more people ask this question than I do and will know what to do.

see a nutritionist about a healthy mela plan, do aerobics for pregnant women (denise austin has dvd for that), and walk as much as you can while you can... someplace nice and cool and peaceful so that it will have a positive affect on your fetus too... good luck!!!
