My wart is about ( ) that big on the inside of my foot. I am trying to get rid of it. I just need to know how I got it so I can be more aware and try not to get it again.

I had one once and removed it with the Dr Scholl's planters wart patches. It took a week or so, but I haven't got it back since then. Just make sure that you follow the directions and it will go away.

As the others have said, you can get it from walking on bathroom floors barefoot or just floors in general. My best friend had 6 of them once. She got them because she didn't wear socks with her shoes. Warts love to grow in warm,wet places. If it's a small wart,try an over the counter med. If it's bigger, I'd go to the doctor.

You got it from a virus that you picked up by walking barefoot over a surface that had the virus on it. Usually they are picked up in a communial area such as the showers at the gym, or the floor around the pool. Keep flip flops on at all times in those places even while taking a shower. Also, keep your shoes on while trying clothes on at the dept store.
Go to the doctor and have it frozen off.

They are easily picked up by walking around barefoot, especially in a moist area like around a pool or in a public shower (dorms, etc.) Wear flip flops in those situations, shoes/socks whenever you can.
