Who has cared for you and supported you for your whole life? Who has your best interests at heart? Yes, your parents. Who has sacrificed so that you can be what you are today? Your parents. Do you not think that they know what can happen if you go with this boy? They are trying to spare you from any sorrow or unhappiness. It is difficult to make your way in the world with no money and don't tell me love will make things work because love doesn't last when you can't pay the rent or buy food. Listen to your parents.

It's not really a matter of trust, it's more a matter of concern for your future well being. You don't need to choose between your parents and boyfriend, try to find a happy medium if you can. You have to understand your parents concern, because they don't want you to fall into financial ruin.

In general, I would say your parents are always on your side and you should listen to them more. Since they raised you, they deserve the benefit of the doubt.

That said, there are some exceptions. For example, my wife's parents are crazy and we usually ignore them.

do what you want but keep in mind his low financial status. will you be able to support yourselves, your kids? will you have to be living paycheck to paycheck? could just be lust or wanting to venture out away from your parents/ either way, if they love you they will always be there for you even if things don't work out.

Sure if you'll never have to ask them for help--FINANCIALLY.You must be young,or your parents would let you make a HUGE mistake. They are trying to save you a real hardship.
