I would say a little is fine.
Only if you are putting it on a spoon to train him with it.
Or putting some into a KONG [greates invention alive] to keep him/her occupied.

Peanut butter in small quantities is good to stuff into Kong toys to occupy a dog for quite a while. It shouldn't hurt him.

Peanuts aren't good for a dog and butter will make it's hair shed.

dogs love peanut butter, b ut rembe rit also makes them thirsty, so on occasion i have given my 4 boxers a bit of penaut butter in their kongs, wheni had too go out for a hour

I use it to give meds or vitamins. That and cream cheese.
Both work wonders for such.
