If the Palestinians stop shooting at Israel, Israel will stop shooting at Palestinians. This is historically demonstrably true. If Hezbollah stopped shooting and returned the hostage soldier, the Israeli action in Lebanon would cease immediately.

It would be the end of the wars. There would still be some civil unrest, but the wars would come to a swift and grinding halt. In spite of the popular impression Israel has noting to prove concerning the Palestinians. Let's face it they own the land they are sitting on. Every time the Arabs have tried to push them off, they have occupied and taken more. It would be in the Palestinians best interest to sit down with Israel and work out a deal where both sides can live in peace.

The reason this is all going on goes back to the years after the holocaust, when rich jews bought land in palestine, joined together, and pushed the palestinian people out of there own land. It was a hostile takeover, they killed thousands of Palestinians. Now, Hezbollah, which is NOT a terrorist group, wants Isreal to give back what they stole. The army of Israel killed 300, hezbollah killed 24. That says it all. Isreal is a war machine. Israel is a theif. Its all in history. Hezbollah took two soldiers which started the most current war. Hezbollah doesn't recognize Isreal as a country, but only as theives, which is what they are. Bush makes things worse. All of the middle east is against Israel because Israel drove Palestinian people out of their own country in a bloody mess. And, The only reason Israel succeded was because the US is greedy, wanted free oil, so they helped Israel, and got free oil. Israel is the spawn of America. I'm not against Jews, I'm against the way they took over an innocent country. And I'm against their political platform and government...
I wish there could be peace, and Palestine could get their country back...If Jewish people want a country. They should get it fair and square.

Same thing they are doing now. Palestinian weapons consist of handguns and rocks and maybe a few rocket launchers if any. What I would like to see is a fair battle between the Israelis and Palestinians. If the Israelis went in with just guns and themselves, the Palestinians would show them who the stronger nation is. But they fight like cowards by attacking by air with missiles and go in only when protected by their armored tanks. There are many Israelis in Israeli prisons who refuse to serve in their military because of the cruelty of the Israeli army. One of the tactics of the Israeli army is to kill all Palestinians, women and children included. They are instructed to kill all and even "rip unborn babies from the wombs of their mothers" Compliments of Ariel Sharon. Do these people really sound like "G.D'S chosen people to you?? I think not.

The Israelis would still have issues with Hezbollah until there soldiers are returned. Bur Israel is a very peaceful country contrary to some of the opinions going around. when Scuds were being launched at them they stood pat while America was in war with Iraq. Its very hard to ask a country to allow itself to be fired on and not respond.When Iran threatened annihilation Israel didn't attack. Israel is a peaceful country they just want to live like everyone else.

I think the Israelis would die of shock! This could be the tactic that the Palestinians need to win. Turn away from stupid violence and seek peace.

It's a moot question - 1. Palestinians are like all psycho arabs islamics and so forth - and want to kill everyone, so they would never drop their weapons. 2. Palestinians are no threat to Isreal at all (as a whole, when it comes to overall weapons or control), if Isreal really wanted to - they could wipe the Gaza Strip out in a week, but they don't, b/c they are aren't psycho arabs and islamics....

The Fakestinians will never do that though, so it is a silly question. They are motivated by one goal, that being the destruction of Israel and the slaughter of the Jews. This is what motivates all Arabs and all Muslims. When they say otherwise it is a lie for the media's consumption.

They would not throw theirs into the sea, because some other lame group calling for the end of Israel would soon be on the horizon to try to wipe them off the face of the earth.
