He could have not given them the tree in the first place. Seriously, why was it there? If it was a necessary tree for some reason shouldn't he have put where there weren't any people? And also isn't "if they had not sinned, they would have been perfect." kinda contradictory, obviously they weren't perfect to begin with or Eve wouldn't have been tempted by the snake and Adam wouldn't have been tempted by Eve. They were sinners from the start. If they would've resisted the fruit they would've been tempted some time later with some other thing they weren't supposed to do and thus sin would be born some other way, it didn't take long for them to sin against "God" They would've received a thousand more temptations if they had resisted that one. The only way they were perfect was that they had not seen or heard of sin yet. But it would've happened eventually as the population grew anyway, since they were obviously not perfect.
The bible tells us not to have blind faith, it also tells us not to trust in a God that is contradictory. But the Bible has contradictions in it all the way through....the King James translation was written in the 1600's so how can people believe it is accurate?
It just goes to show you don't trust everything you read in the bible. Concentrate on your own personal lessons from God and don't worry about everyone elses, and never be certain that what you speak or hear or read is truth from God. Never stop seeking knowledge and put it together yourself.

God told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth, they would have had children regardless, and if they had not sinned, they would have been perfect. If Adam and Eve would have said NO to Satan, they would still be alive today along with all of their children. No one can thwart God's purposes. There will be a paradise earth filled with righteous people to times indefinite just as he proposed. To learn more contact Jehovah's Witnesses in your local area.

i think God new perfectly well that Adam and eve will listen to the snake, this is his way of showing that we have a choice to live a life with Him or without Him. Of course he wanted more people in His garden, because he created Eve for Adam to have a partner, to have children, to rule the animals and the pants.

They would have never had children born into sin! Who are you to say that children would have never existed?
Men and women, even from the time of Adam have been given a choice, follow God or follow your own way. One way leads to life, the other death. God's plans are never thwarted, He's just not going to force anyone to love Him. Those who love Him and follow Him by *choice* are those that are truly His.

GOD's plan cannot be thwarted, and it wasn't thwarted. Nowhere does it say in the BIBLE that Adam and Eve couldn't have children before the fall. They were naked and didn't know it, but GOD created man in the fullness of HIS likeness and completely.
The capability for children was there, they just didn't know it yet.

Good question.
Without the snake, they would not have discovered all that naughty sex.
Then they would have lived forever and been totally bored to death.
If Adam had been a bit more interesting, Eve would never have turned to food for comfort in the first place.
Then there is the question of their grandchildren.
Incest again, but luckily, it was before it was prohibited. So that's alright.
God just didn't plan things very well at all, did he?

They would have had children, but Eve wouldn't have had any pain in delivery. That was given to the female because of disobedience. Who knows if they didn't have lots of children before the fall, it doesn't say, but how else would she have known freedom of pain in delivery unless she had other children before. It's worth a thought.
The garden was to be enlarged and I am sure God's plan was to have the garden eventually cover the earth.

After Adam and Eve had kids. Who did they mate with? Each other or there parents? Ewwww. God started man using incest. Does anyone think there is a problem here.

Maybe they would have had children--we don't know. One thing for sure, sex wouldn't have been so all-fired important (maybe they would have had a mating season instead of all the time).
Some say that God wanted them to spread the garden to the whole planet.
