Toad in the Hole
Shepherds Pie
Sausage Surprise
Rice Pudding
Trout

I'm sure you can find recipes for those at lots of places on the internet. Remember that Toad in the Hole (and Yorkshire Puddings) use the same batter as pancakes, but the mix should be left in the fridge for several hours before use.

Lancashire Hotpot

Partly cook chunks of Stewing Beef (or Lamb) as if you were making a stew, place in a cassarole with sliced carrots (and/or whatever veg you want) then cover with par boiled potatoes that have been thinly sliced. Place in oven until fully cooked.

Hopefully the juces from the stew have percolated up through the potatoes, which in turn should have crispend off. - Delicious - OK - that's made-up my mind what I'm going to cook tomorrow! ;-)

Pick up an already roasted chicken at Asda or Waitrose; serve cold with my "confetti" pasta salad (also a cold dish) and some ice cream over a hot toffee sponge cake, quick cooked in the micro.
