I find hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia to be quite ironic. As for funny, I think 'English' is the funniest. It's spelled as 'english' but pronounced like 'inglish'. Then there's all the words with 'sch' that are pronounced like 'sk' instead of 'sh'. In fact, English is a very funny language in general.
