The problem with having bangs is that it takes so long for them to grow out when they are no longer in style

Cool! depending on the shape of your head! I have bangs and i love them. I have a large forehead so it helps cover it up. I think girls look cute with bangs, if you dont want bangs that lay straight forward you can always do a sweeping bang, which i have now.

Depends on the person. I know people with bangs that look good with them. Then I know people that shouldnt do bangs. Also, what kind of bangs? Just a few that cover one eye; or straight across?

it depends on the shape of your head. if u have a big head then you'd be better off wearing a bang but if your head is a normal size or small then there is no need for a bang.

Do you mean a fringe?
My mum used to give me a big basin fringe as a child which took years to grow out. Unortunately I suffered very mild hair loss around my hairline during pregnancy and was left with unsightly straggly hairs growing ack, forcing me to get a new fringe cut in.
I think it looks OK though, it depends what suits the individual though so there is no specific answer.
If you suit one its cool, if you don't its not!!

it is now. especially if you have long, straight hair and you get the "china doll" style for the bangs. either that or take lead from the emo.
