I am a straight girl already in college in a third world country. i think I like one of my classmates but he's gay though he's not that flamboyant...is it worth it? we're becoming frineds and i think "like" might develop into something else...

Don't get the wrong impression only because he doesn't fit the stereotypes of how a gay man behaves.
If someone is *gay* and not bisexual, he will never be interested in you as a woman, but only as a friend.
If he is bisexual, it might become more... but I wouldn't be too sure in your case.
That he isn't "that flamboyant" doesn't mean he is less gay!!!

If hes GAY then you probably wont have any romance. Just because he is gay..if he were bi that would be a different story

Look at it this way: would it be worth it for a lesbian to pursue a relationship with you? Doubt it. Same goes here: he might be attractive, but he likes his dates to have balls. Literally.
