don't rub it in blot it with a dry towel then spray it with a rug cleaner designed for pet accidents and it will remove the smell or putsome febreeze in a spray bottle with hot water and spray on the spot and let sit then clean it again with plain water try not to wet the rug to much don't over saturate it

Get a rag or dish towel and put soap and water on it. Scrub it a lot, this will get out the smell and possible stain. Then, a little a freshener might be needed in your room.

I'm sorry but i've got three kids, I know how you feel.
Just scrub it with hot water or soda water if you have it,dry it well, and then spray it with fabreeze or a 2/3 water 1/3 vinegar mix. Problem solved.

Clean it up right away. Scrub with soap and water. Maybe use a carpet stain cleaner as well. Then wait until it dries, vaccuum it, febreeze it...you should be good.
