Why do so many American couples prefer to adopt foreign children rather than choosing one of the millions of needy American children who need a good home? Don't get me wrong, I think it's admirable to help any child in need, but I'm wondering why so many people look outside the U.S. first.

you dont choose a sissy vehicle? then why even aspect out toyotas? I wouldnt get a hybrid because you pay so a lot extra up the front yet, in case you would possibly want to get a hybrid you would possibly want to get the 2010 ford fusion hybrid. i wouldnt recommend a small vehicle once you've a relatives. Is the money you save in gas quite worth risking worse injuries contained in the progression of an coincidence? no longer in my opinion. i'd recommend a pontiac g8, gt in case you want the more desirable hundred horsepower and a million a lot less street mpg. it is a tremendous sedan that you gained't outgrow and it is fairly probability-free. it is technically australian yet holden is owned by gm so it is made by an american owned corporation. btw, it doesnt look sissy in any respect

Often, overseas adoptions are simply costly, American adoptions put you through too many changes so I've heard. Also, there is a high demand on newborns. Americans seem to be on this trend of murdering it's babies, instead of putting them up for adoption. Finally, I think that a lot of the babies that are up for adoption, has tremendous issues, (i.e. drug and.or alcohol addiction, etc.)

I think the main reason is because foreign adoptions tend to be quicker and easier. I know a friend of my mother's who was on a waiting list for a baby for over 10 years. A lot of couples don't want to wait that long.

It isn't as easy to adopt in the US as one might think. My friends were looking to adopt and their household was considered "unstable" for children because he was in the army!! Of all people to turn down--someone in the service.

They ended up trying in China because they got the same answer most everywhere they went.

By the way--he was always stationed in the US due to his speciality.

I think that it is because there are all kinds of regulations on who can adopt American babies, so if you have a record or are gay, you might have to adopt from overeseas instead of domestically.

Cheaper and easier are the first two reasons. They also do it to get a baby in their own race (like white children from Romania). I know it's unfortunate, but that's the way it is.

When my sister adopted, they looked at where the most need was and that is how they chose where to adopt from...Guatemala. It wasn't necessarily cheaper, I think it cost like $35,000.

Because it is cheaper and the paperwork takes less time to go through so they can get their baby faster.

BECAUSE people outside the US need MORE help. Poverty is much more severe OUTSIDE, esp. in Third World countries.
