Since you cat is apparently an outdoor cat, there is nothing you can do to stop his natural predatory instincts. If the bell is not alerting his intended prey, there is probably not much you can do to prevent this other than keep him indoors. He is simply bringing you a 'gift' so you will be proud of his hunting ability.

The only way would be to keep him inside, especially now that your cat has a taste for that. Personally I have never let my cats go outdoors. They can become victims too, it is not safe for them. More chances of them getting diseases too if they are outdoor cats.

Unfortunately you cannot stop it but you can help by giving it plenty of treats and food. They will still want to chase and play with it but I have found my cats will not kill as much when they have all they need to eat and more.

It's called instinct! Cats are hunters, predators. You are part of the pride (herd). Your cat is sharing food with you. You will never break your cat of this instinct. It's as if someone asked you to stop breathing! If you are disturbed by this, keep your little buddy indoors. Please don't punish your cat by hitting or yelling, he/she is only doing what's natural.

usually you can't stop this behavior. You might try punishing the cat when it happens, but that is only effective sometimes. Use a squirt bottle with luke-warm tap water. They hate that, but it doesn't hurt them.

That is a natural sign of affection, they are bringing you presents and want praise for it, if you tell them off they will bring more as they think you are angry with them and they want to show you their love. Praise them then dispose of the body without them seeing!!

They are just showing you how much they love you. Say "Thank You" and chew on the dead rodent along with the cat.

keep the cat from going outside... or if you want the cat to be able to go in and out then make sure that if your cat does this that you should show them its not allowed... cats are harder to train then dogs mainly but you should still teach them whats allowed and what isnt. (*Take care*)
