I have the man of my dreams asking me to cook for him... I said okay, so we set a date on Saturday. He is from Syria, has nothing to cook with in his home... such as pots and pans... and he likes to eat just about everything. I want it to be special, and I am a good cook... what would be the best thing to cook??? I am lost... and he said it is up to me... and I don't want to say anything like if you don't tell me what to cook than I won't cook!!!

If you can cook a good steak than go for it. Main: Steak (sauteed), shrimp(steamed), Curry red snapper fish(fry-ed in Andy's Fish Fry add a little curry powder, Jamaican or Asian Curry)
Sides: White or brown rice w/parsley and sliced tomatoes, steamed corn on cob, corn bread w/ corn & green pepers.
Give your man a buffet! Food is the key to a mans heart. I can e-mail you all the ingrdinates.
Drinks: Anything that is bubbley

Prime rib,twice baked potatoes, green bean casserole, or other sides if you don't like those. And for dessert you could make chocolate dipped strawberries or something of the sort. Good luck

Try looking on line to see if you can find a easy traditional Syrian recipe. One sure way to his heart is to provide a dish from back home!

If he's not a vegaterian, then do a steak of some sort and if he is, do a stir fry. Then for dessert, I reccomend a trifle. It's yummy and healthy

You should do some research and see what is a popular dish in his country because that will show that you are interested in his culture.
