I have two day old kittens. I haven't checked to see if they're male or female yet. The one is a dark gray/black tiger and the other is a light orange tiger. If one of them's a male I'll name it after my boyfriend, but I need two girl names and another boy name just to be safe.

I feel that, as the cats are Tiger Striped. Indian names would be a good choice.

Girls Names - Chahna (love), Chandra (moon), Ishita (superior), Lata (creeper), Leela (divine drama), Manju (pleasant), Neepa (a flower), Nina (beautiful eyes), Nisha (night), Rani (queen), Rupa (silver), Saura (celestial), Vanhi (fire), Yamini (nocturnal), Yamya (night),

Boys Names - Bir (courageous), Goral (lovable), Naresh (king), Ravi (sun), Vatsa (son), Vir (brave),Yamir (moon),

Okay, this is just 35 years of experience talking, but I have found that a cat will respond best if you let him/her pick their own names.

I use a small book of baby names, I select the 4 or 5 that seem to best suit the cat, and then I ask them which they like.

If you've chosen a set that truly fits your cat, he/she will respond to one of them. (With a head-nod, or by looking interested -- you'll see.)

Keep in mind that it will take several weeks to discover your kitten's personality, and in the mean time "hey you" is probably going to work as good as anything.

Best of luck

Tiger cats I have known:
Tiger Man, Pepe, Tigger, Deohgee, (pronounced D-O-G, because he thought he was one), Zombese, Jerry, Will, and Davitch, (one line of strange orange tabby's), Puma, Frederick of Hollywood, Buddy, Dave, Shy-Shy, and Gilligan, who was more gray than tabby, I wanted to mention, because he was my little Buddy.

Hi for the orange cat and Jinks or Jinx for the dark one. Doesn't matter if they are male or female.

I just bought two kittens one a boy and the other a girl. Me and my daughter thought that LuLu and JoJo was cute. It seems to fit them perfectly.
