If I'm in hell and he's in heaven, I'm breaking out for a day just to come up to heaven to drag him down to hell with me.

It's for the same reason atheists sound so smug and annoying when they speak to Christians. "We're smart because we don't believe in your God and you're not. Nyah nyah nyah."

None of them have told me that though they did hint at it. I ask them, "do they know that Hitler went to Heaven?" They don't like that. Their belief systems rides on the insistence that what they call bad or evil (despite the fact that this definition changes constantly) will go to hell and burn b/c they can only sleep at night knowing this. It never occurs to them that we ourselves are the ones to create heaven or hell for ourselves. But if Heaven is where the "christians" are going to be. I want to be in Hell. It'll be more fun.

Well, most Christians have a loving personality. Some don't....some put on their Sunday masks go to church pretend they are holier then thou and continue with the rest of their week, sinning like all the other sinners. However there are some Christians with a loving soul and they accept people for who they are and realize all of us make mistakes (who doesn't). No one is perfect. There's a chance you won't go to hell, and instead of someone saying what they did to you, they should be trying to help prevent you from going there. That's what Christians are supposed to do.

Those said Christians are more than likely only religious because they are paranoid of the hell scenario. These people think about hell on a daily basis, often throughout the day their thoughts of hell consume their mind.
I would say such religious people are in Hell, shackled in ignorance for the rest of their lives.

If you read the first 4 gospels( Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) you will understand what the kindgdom of God is like. People who call themselves christians and say things like that are not representing the truth that Jesus portrayed.
First off, they dont decide who will be seperated from God, essentially you do! Jesus has provided a way for salvation, a free gift that you can either accept or reject. If you reject Him and dont want any part of His kingdom then you dont have to take part in it. Those who reject Jesus are said to exist after bodily death in a place that is seperate from God's presence. This in itself will be hell enough when people understand what it's like.

Ask them about Gehenna (sp?). Its what their concept of hell is based on. It was a real place - but hell is based solely on myth, so tell your Christian "friends" that you will see them in Baghdad, or Detroit - whatever your least favorite city happens to be. They can be smug all they want. People used to think the world was flat too... remember?

Just wait till they meet you in hell with that 'how the hell did that happen' look on their face because they forgot about PRIDE being a sin. That whole, i'm better than you thing....they kinda don't realize that the devil is dancing on their shoulders while the angels' long fell off. Just laugh, they're not perfect, and with attitudes like that, We'll see them in hell too.

True Christians know that only God can judge a human. Anyone that tells you that you will go to Hell isnt a true Christ like person.
BTW, I'm sorry to see purgutory isnt an option anymore. I always figured thats where I wanted to be. Too many Goody Goodies in Heaven, too hot in Hell, Purgutory sounded more like New Jersey to me.

If you do not believe in Hell why worry? If a Christian is happy or smug in the belief that you are going to hell he/she is not acting like a Christian. Christians model their life after Christ, and Christ was so sympathetic towards sinners that he gave his life to pay for their sins. He said love your enemy. Getting angry at these Christians is no better than them saying what they did to you. They have failed and you should not take pleasure in their failure, just as they should not take pleasure in yours. God bless you. Remember Jesus loves you!

I dont understand why some people would get smug about something like that... our purpose here on earth is to find the people that don't know god or need help in there relationship with god and help them. Bring them to christ so that when they die so that they do not have to suffer in hell with Satin. It is a gift to know god and if you do you should use your gift to help others
