I asked a question here http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AnAnZdRQA9KgyYdDotIT3THsy6IX?qid=20060719135952AAktTi1 and some of the responses are that people should "mind their own business." If you are posting on a public board, I hope you are wise enough to know that your "business" is being made public and is open to public answers if you ask a question or comment if you are posting an answer. These "public" boards, however, are regulated by Yahoo. But, comments, answers, and questions, make YOUR business the PUBLIC'S business.

Posting private information on a public site can constitute a waiver of privilege, which is a more serious issue. An adversary, or a prosecutor, can force you to reveal further private bits of information in connection with a lawsuit or prosecution.

I just love this question. They don't realize when they don't block their email they will receive them. Their 360 is violated with obscene messages too! That's why I blocked mines a while back. Everybody should realize that their profile is being looked at also. If you say you have morals and you are answering questions or posting comments that are lewd and perverted, everyone can see that too therefore your business isn't yours any more! You are soo right.

Shalom

You are absolutely correct in your understanding. Yahoo!Answers is a public forum. All questions and answers can be viewed by all, unless deleted either by the individual who submitted them or by Yahoo! operatives in the event that said comments/questions violate the Yahoo! TOS in some manner.

I think that it is simple enough. If someone post a question and it is something that you do not want to answer: then don't answer it. Anyone that answers the question with " mind your own business" just wants points.

Well I think you really like to judge people and mess around here. She only said her point of view about the question. Just like I did with mine. If you don't like other people's opinions then do not ask. She never said you were getting in other people's business and she didn't insulted you, she only said is something private.

You asked what do you believe about prematiral sex and she said is something of their own business.

That's all.

Well this is the new kind of chat (whisper) made public. Well if don't like it just answer the question, you might help others who do not know. This is one way of learning.

The Problem is we cannot print the answer, I hope we can for reference purposes. Thank you.

I agree completely. This is an open forum where the point is for everyone to have the chance to speak his or her mind regardless of whether anyone else agrees with your opinion.

I agree with you.
If I find something too personal to answer, I simply move on to another question. No sense in wasting the questioners time and mine with a smart-aleck retort.
