Well, Hasidic Jews and other Jews have different views about how the Torah is properly interpreted and what is required of a good Jew. Here is an article about what Chasidism is all about and where it originated:
http://www.rebbe.org/chasidism.html
Hasidic Jews tend to be stricter in their observance of Jewish law and have interpretations that many other Jews consider to be overly strict regarding certain laws including kashrut (kosher food), modesty in dress, and appropriate interactions between men and women. Some Hasidic Jews and other Jews get along just fine and there are other Jews in both camps that have a problem with Jews who are not like them. Even in the group you call "regular Jews," there are many different groups, including modern orthodox Jews, conservative Jews, and reform Jews. Each group has a different take on how the laws of the Torah are to be interpreted and how strictly they must be followed. There are even secular Jews who do not practice their religion at all but still consider themselves Jewish.

I hope this is helpful.

A Hasid is a follower of the teachings of the Baal Shem Tov. They get along fine with other Jews but do not recognize non Orthodox Rabbis. They also have some different customs.

first of all what is a regular jew u mean a reform jew its ok i guess no one really knows culture wise we are jot different we both belive in the same thing the difference is hasidic jews are very religious and observe all the hoilidays if they are suppose to fast they all fast even the children are expected to follow the rules they walk everywhere on sabbath while a refor jew may observe the holidays but we dont walk on sabbath we drive and we observe holidays to our extent we do not go so out of the way to observe them like on pasach (passover) while the hassidics throw out all the food in there house with yeast or remove them all from thier house we just dont eat those foods with yeast basically hassidic jews are stricter on there belifes whether it be torah being kosher and holidays and they teach the bal shem tov yes we get along fine with them

Hasidic Jews are more religious and pious. More extreme. From what I've seen and read, they dont always get along but im sure many others do.
