after processing/cleaning it, it can be re-used to run diesel vehicles
call your local recycling center

It's pretty safe for the enviroment, since you can eat it I don't think it will harm anything. What I usually do it pour it into an empty pop bottle put the lid on tight and throw it in the trash. This way you don't get a big mess with the oil running every where.

the best way to get rid of cooking oil or any oil is turn on the hot tap till really hot add loads of soap IE washing up liquid and rinse away does not block and breaks down all oily residue

not really environment friendly but I just turn on the hot water and wait for it to rinse down the sink.
if u have a dog u can save it and every once in awhile add it to the food so their coat can have a natural shine to it.

You can drain it into a jar like a jelly jar or peanut and then re-use it ..... If your using lard it will turn white and is best used for making refried beans. It may look gross but that's what you can do.

I always keep a large jar for that. We keep ours in the freezer until its full and then throw the frozen grease away. No muss no fuss.

I just throw it in the trash can or down the drain. I know I shouldn't do it.

Pour it down the sink - unless it's animal fat it will never clog the drains and is fully biodegradable

Freeze it and put it in the garbage. Quickly, before it melts!
