ok, send her signs u like her, see if she gets them and sends them too, then if she does ask her out, if she doesn't get the signs, then just ask her out!

I'm also in the "you don't" camp. Usually, if you have that "I really like this girl" feeling but don't feel comfortable telling her so, that means you haven't spent enough time together, and you're actually infatuated with her appearance and/or some charming mannerisms of hers.
You really need to be her friend for a while, or date for a while, before she'll be ready to hear that you really like her.

all you can do is just ask her out on date. if you simply just say "i like you", she'll be thinking "yeah, so, and?"
