Do you think that it could be the Revived Roman Empire?

I think dropping of tarrifs etc. were good ideas, unified gov. and currency weren't. I don't know if it's the revived roman empire, but they sure aren't making things harder for the anti-christ...

No, that is silly. The EU consists mostly of territory and peoples who were never part of any Roman Empire, and most of the Roman Empire's former territory lies outside the EU, not in it. If you're engaging in the common religious zealot hobby of trying to mash current events into some prophetic mold you've found in the Bible, then I guess facts won't matter much to you anyway. Religious people have been claiming various historical figures and organizations as signs of the end times for almost two thousand years now, never once correctly -- but I'm sure this time is different and you have it all figured out!

A lot of things could be the revived roman empire. we have to wait to see. but I believe it's another organization trying for a world wide government.

No, the birthrates in those countries are too low. That's not necessarily a bad thing but it won't enable them to have an empire, because to have an empire you need large numbers of soldiers and that requires a high birthrate. I think the Europeans should put all their energies into being an economic powerhouse instead.

I tend to enjoy reading historical novels. An older author, Taylor Caldwell have written a book about Cicero called, Pillar of Iron.

What it IS though is quickly becoming a major economic superpower. That's why the US greenback is being dumped on the world markets and the Euro being bought up by the score.
