Good question,

Jesus (while on earth) prayed for strength in his human form. He was tempted as we are tempted. In Heaven he would not have needed to pray because he was in the atmosphere of God, the father. He functioned as a God's son on Earth (meaning he was all powerful) but he still had to take a dump and a nap every now and then like us.

He prayed that God would give him the strength to indure the Cross for US.
And to all of the Atheist out there it's mighty funny to me that you are answering questions about Jesus and you don't believe in him. Why are you even going to the religious question and answer section. I think you want to believe.

Before Jesus died one of his biggest prayers was for Unity. i think that is a major thing needed in the church and amongst each other being that it's the last prayer recorded in the Book of John right before he died.

The only prayer a master ever says is a prayer of gratitude because they know the answer has already been given (because all time is now).

I don't think your supposed to pray for things. Even though he says to pray for "God" to forgive us our trespasses.

Sounds kinda selfish to me.

He spoke with God alone most of the time. In His "high priestly prayer" he prayed for US.

Less nails? He probably prayed the people would keep buying his s***, and not catch onto it being a crock.
