I am a 39 yr old white female who has been having pains in my lower pelvic area, sometimes on both sides at the same time and sometimes different sides at different times. I believe it is in the area of my ovaries but I went to the doctor and had an ultrasound done of my abdomen and my pelvic area and just got the letter in the mail the other day that they come back negative so no sure what they were testing for, I imagine cysts but not really sure. But my question now is if they come back negative and I am still have pain what could be the cause of it? I am going to go back to the doctor soon but just wondered if anyone had any ideas on what else could be causing the pain.

I would call up the doctor and ask what was negative!? There is so much inside Abdomen/Pelvic area that we could all guess here. Good luck!

you could be constipated you can have a bm every day and still be constipated I would try drinkink lots of water and taking some milk of magnesia for 1 week and see how this does...ask your primary doctor to send you for a K.U.B(its just an xray of your stomach nothing invasive) to see if you are constipated ....

The doctor might want you to have a colonoscopy.

Good luck!
