I don't mean just every sunday. I'm Talking like 3 to 4 night during the week. Sunday school was at 9 and regular service didn't end until like 2 or 3. We didn't have no Hymn books but you still know all the songs by heart. Drums playing and people dancing and shouting, and the preachers kids were always the worst ones. I wouldn't go to a church like that now but at 6 years old it was a trip. Did you go to a church like that?

yes I went to a church like that. My whole family still goes to a church like that. My husband and I are now raising our kids in the same church I went to as a kid. We think that it is the only way to go now days. We have tried different Churches but none of them ever felt like a good church and one that we where use to.

I am a christian, and I don't remeber hearing that someone telling me that your going to hell if you never go to church. I believe that if you are in a religion where there is a church involved then you should go to fellowship and congregate; it's more than just preachin'.
Lol, the preacher's kids were naturally bad, and the church I previously went to was somewhere where they played the songs every Sunday or every other Sunday so of course everyone knew them by heart. Except for that one new song a month. At my old church it used to be like that, someone would shout and than start running a 100yrd dash around the church, those are some of the moments I laughed so hard. (sighs) Good times.

I went to churh on Sunday's, but by the time i was in high school I could not figure out why the preacher did not teach about the things in the bible. He yelled and danced around about I don't know what while the congregation was buck wild. I was told that bible learning was done in bible school but I thought at least something about the bible would have been explained or talked about during the service. The preachers theatrics turned me off and I eventually joined a Non-Denominational church that did teach during the service along with preaching.

Yeah actually.....my mother (i think) was trying to cast her sins away and we belong to just about every kinda church u can imagine (except for catholic). N E Ways......one of the best ones was Hebrew Pentacostal Seven Day Adventist. Long name I know but man was a child it was fun. we had to be in church at 9am for prayer warriors meetings, then we had morning worship and then we split up for Sabbath school. After Sabbath school we went back in to count (money, heads, & do the BOOKS). After that Bishop would come in and tell us it was time for lunch and we would all pray and go down stairs for lunch. After we would go back to church until around sun down. It all sounds crazy but the best part was we were in church the night before (friday & saturday). So to answer ur question yes.......and as a kid I loved it.

I was brought up in church, every Sunday, and Wednesday night bible study. We have hymn books, but most songs we know by heart because they're old spirituals. We also sing contemporary gospel. We have a pianist and an organist. I enjoyed it then, and still enjoy it today.

Kind of.. I hate going to church all the time because I had different views and what I believed in. Some of the things that are said in church are correct and other things aren't. I felt that some things were misunderstood and I really don't know how i know this but i do.

Does holding little ones interior quit them from doing drugs? Do telling your baby No ward off them from sneaking out? there are distinct what-if questions lets ask in this international yet all of it boils right down to judgements. you won't be able to rigidity someone to do or no longer do something except violence is extra or something. Having sex gained't quit baby molester from being themselves, sin sick. So do you fairly imagine that merely spreading sex round will calm the international's issues? i comprehend it is no longer authentic. existence is existence and some human beings choose help base line. it is no longer the church itself fault, it is the guy. If human beings take duty for his or her movements, the international will be a much better position.

Not quite like that but I was brought up in a strict religion. I left when I was old enough to see that the elders of the church were hypocrites and did not practise what they preached.

Yes, preacher kids is always the worst. Sad to admit.
I am a Bible student, and also father of 2. I am still trying to spend quality time at home to ensure that my kids are 'sane', and not misbehaviour.
Err. . . still praying for them.
