The chicken.
God created Adam and Eve as adults....they were never babies.
So I guess the chicken came first, then the egg.

Egg:
Evolution: As the birds evolve there would have been a male near-chicken and a female near-chicken. The female laid eggs and they became very-near chickens, both male and female.
These very-near chickens laid an egg. Thus when this egg hatched it was the first proper chicken.
If you think about evolution, the egg is the obvious answer. This question gives me headaches as I don't understand why people say the chicken came first.
Evolution people!!! Read up on it!

The egg did. It's just that at first the egg didn't contain a chicken, it contained a creature which evolved into what we know as a chicken. The egg was always there as a method of birthing - the chicken was not.

To the person that said that people should read up on evolution, if they really did, they'd see how much of a hoax evolution really is. There is not ONE scientist who believes in evolution. It's an undisputed fact that when God created the world, he created everything as mature, adult beings. The trees were tall, the ground was weathered, Adam was an adult, the chicken was created. God also created the rooster. He also created the act of reproduction, whereby we get eggs.

the egg becuase first when there where no chickens other birds evolved more and more like the modern chicken and finall y the first real chicken was an egg hatched by a non chicken bird
