My friends who helped raised me, HER daughter is getting married. I need to buy it online so I can get it mailed directly to her.
She has pretty much everything any suggestions on something special/unique and websites?

Thanks.

We just got married one of the nicest gifts we received was one form my husband's aunt. She took our wedding invitation and brought it to someone who presses flowers. She picked flowers that matched the coloring of the invitation and had them frame our invitation with the flowers around it. It is absolutely gorgeous and the nicest "from the heart" gift we got.

One word of caution in ordering online, I would highly reccomend checking the online version of the Better Business Bureau before placing your order. We ordered some gifts for our attendants from weddingchannel.com, when the groomsman gifts came but my bridesmaid gifts didn't I called the website people and come to find out the wouldn't be to us in time so I cancelled it and then fought with the company for 4 weeks. It wasn't until after I wrote them up with the BBB that I got my money back, after looking them up I discovered that they already had an "F" rating and had I known that I wouldn't have ordered from them.

Good luck finding a gift!

A beautiful vase or decanter from Tiffany.com
A memory box from redenvelope.com
An engraved bottle of champagne from Schramsberg (my favorite)

I'd steer clear of cash or gift certificates. They just aren't personal for the most part - unless the GC is for over $150 dollars.

First try finding out where she is registered so you can get her something that she really wants. If that is not an option, try getting a photo of her and her fiance, have it framed and send that to her. You can also try westelm.com, crateandbarrel.com, potterybarn.com and other websites like that to ensure getting them something they need.

www.redenvelope.com has some neat stuff, but it can get kind of pricey.
