I broke up with my b/f of 5 years because he cheated on me. He told me that "I and the girl call each other. Assume we talk everyday."

So i decided to move on, but we have some other issues. We bought a car together (he told me about the girl after he signed the loan paper), and we found out that the car had been an accident. So we hired an attorney and going through a lot of stuff.

I really don't wanna see him because he makes me emotionally unstable again, but i guess i have to... what can I do??

go thru ur attorney. dont have to talk to him directly and if u really dont 1 2 c him, sacrified a bit on ur car. rather than seeing him back, makes hurt ur feeling only.

i ever been the same feeling be4, not because he cheated me but because i dumped him.. i dont even 1 2 accept any call from him and until now we never become friend anymore because i always avoid meeting him. i dont 1 2 remember our time togather and makes me 1 2 go back to him. i dumped him because i dont like him but i am a person tt very easily emotion affected, i might be leak out and cry on him talking about reason y i dump him.

so my suggestion, try 2 avoid until u are emotion stabilized

oof, I'm sorry... not a fun situation at all. It sounds like all you can do is steel yourself for whatever happens. What works for me when I have to face someone I don't want to is to create a mantra to stick in my head. For example, I had to tell an abusive boss that I was quitting but was afraid of his reaction, so I told myself "I have every right to quit and I will be so much happier once this is done" over and over again so that it was almost playing in the background of my mind when I went to see him. Maybe you could tell yourself "He has no power over me" or something like that until you believe it.

Be strong. Be cold if you have to. You are worth so much more than allowing that creep to make a mess of your life, even for one day.

try not to meet him alone.
get the lawyer to handle the paper work on yr behalf if neccessay. if not you have to find at least one close fren to accompany u when u have to meet him. in this way u will not feel so emotionally unstable so easily.
just dun stress up yrself too much.

well if the car is in your name (as primary) and his as a secondary then you have more rights to the car. You are the one that the bank is going after then him if they can not reach you. I say get the car back and sue him if he was the one that wrecked it for the repairs to get done.

Get a new boyfriend ASAP. Then just deal with old bf as a pure business relationship.
