Yeah, I just wrote a HUGE message to another questioner.. you can look at that for some info.
When travelling I always use the bus, or if there are no buses, the train.
You're right about the actual info being poor... there are some good websites, which people above have listed.
However when you actually get to the places, the info is lacking.
Koreans if not shy, will volunteer to help you as much as possible, it's more of a bonus when they speak english if you can't speak Korean.
When taking the bus, often in the bus station or in a building near it, you can get maps and brochures on what to do in the area. Kyoung Ju has a good info centre outside of the bus terminal.
In Seoul you can go to the tourist info centres, and they are very helpful. There are a few in Jong ro, they can also give info on other areas.
The Busan and Seoul city bus tours are good to get your bearings. Im not sure if Kyoung Ju has one or not, but the general bus takes you to all the main attractions, and you can hire a bike there.
Where in particular would you like to go? I think that when you are traveling in Korea, if you do come across someone willing to help you, you could ask them about other places of interest to you.
Enjoy your traveling!

Sorry to say you're wrong. S-Korea is very well organised. Take public transport to go almost anywhere. I did it by bus, excellent, fast and cheap. Buy a Lonely Planet to find out where to go and visit the excellent website from SK Tourism.
You will be suprised!!

Hey, I just wrote some info right above your question. Hope it helps! You can also take "City Tour Bus" which goes around touristic spots in Seoul. It's always good to take those when you arrive first in new cities just to get the orientation. :-)

Does he choose city lights, 5 movie star hotel, or does a much off sea coast in nice condition him more desirable? would he prefer to snorkel, or carry out at a membership? each human being is different, and has different likes/dislikes. One answer does no longer in nice condition all.
