Luizfor, I am worried for you that you may be anorexic, or quickly headed that way. You are only 17, honey. Your body hasn't even stopped growing yet. Instead of feeling like you are cheating on your diet, eat a small meal and fill your snacks with raw fruits and veggies. They will fill you up, keep you lean, and are very good for your body. At your age and being a man, honey, you need, no NEED protein to build muscle. Take it from an ex model, honey, a woman loves a lean muscle machine. If you are too skinny, you will look sick. You know? Be good to yourself and stop dieting. You weren't too fat to begin with. Now you have to opportunity to have the body you want. Walk, shoot hoops, play volleyball, whatever, just don't stop eating. Good luck. Nana

I want to know your diet. I need to loose 5-10 pounds by the end of this month. Can you help? Seriously!
For your situation: How much do you weigh now? How much more do want want to loose? These are critical elements to your health. If you've reached the ideal weigh already, then just maintain it, try working on strength, building muscles.....etc. Do routine work out, that way you won't feel being cheated on your diet. It's not healthy for your body to skip meal. Like others have mentioned: eat less food but more healthy is the best way. Good luck!

Yes, listen to your doctor. What you are doing is starving yourself and once you go off of your diet than you will regain all of the weight and then some quickly. It is best to lose no more than 1-2 pounds a week for a total of no more than 10-12 pounds a month. If you are not eating regular meals you are also slowing down your metabolism making it harder to lose weight in the future. I would also see if I could not find a councilor that can help with your mental issues. To me, it seems that you are starting to get into a dangerous pattern that can cause a lot of harm to your body down the road.

hey hun....once you get stuck on a diet and actually loose weight from it you get scared to try new things and that's normal....you know the diet worked for you but your not sure anythang else will....but i will tell you this...if your skipping meals your body will go into starvation mode meaning it will slow your metabolism down and hold onto calories and nutrients causing slower weight loss after a period of time....not to mention the fact that rapidly pulling weight off will cause you to not only loose fat but to loose muscles to and you need muscle to help burn fat... it is possible to eat, be satisfied and still loose weight..all you have to do is make sure you take in plenty of veggies and fruits and try weight lifting (doesn't have to be real heavy) and some cardio like jogging if you like or dancin'..any thang to get your heart rate up....because the truth is just because you look skinny doesn't mean your healthy....i wish you luck....love daisy

You've lost A LOT of weight. Unless you're morbidly obese, it's definitely time to stop whatever your diet is. Instead of skipping meals, try eating less, or healthier things. That way, you'll keep off the weight that you lost.

skipping meals is VERY unhealthy and can lead to anorexia, and it ruins your metabolism

you want to eat at least three meals a day, but make them smaller and more healthy.
