do squats, do exercises laying on your side on the floor and lift your top leg up slowly and lower it, but not all the way. Do 3 sets of 12 on each side, also do the inner thighs.
The leg you are laying on should be straight out and the upper leg should be bent in front of your lower leg. Lift your bottom leg up as high as you can and lower it again slowly to touch the floor lightly, do 3 sets of 12. This helps. Repeat this at least 3-4 times per week.

Ok, a couple of things here, first is it fat or bone? If you have thick hips because of excess fat you need to up your cardio working to a point where you are doing 30-45 minutes of cardio 5 days a week. High repetition weight training will also help to tone the muscle in that area. Of course along with this you will have to watch your diet cut calories stay away from fried foods.
If you just have a wide hips because of genetics not to much you can do.

sweet heart, start walking for 6 days1hour at least then jogging for 6 days for 1 hour at least then running for 45 minutes and each 6 days increase the minutes by adding 10 minutes.
and the most important thing is to reduce the meal value that you use to eat ( but this is if your weight didn't reach too high level than before if it is go and check your self with a special doctor to see if your knee could stand your weight.
Good luck

I have this problem too. There's this yoga exercise that I did last summer and it worked for me..Lying on your back, make circles in the air with one leg at a time, clock wise and then anti-clockwise as long as you can bear or to the count of 5. Make a bicycling motion with your legs lying in the same position. All the best!!

I got em too. Go to the gym and watch the scale.
I lose weight best if I make sure that at the end of each day, I weigh the same as I did at the beginning. This will insure you lose about 1/2 lb every day!

Homeopathic Treatment for Excessive Fat and Weight :-
PHYTOLACCA BERRY's Mother Tincture is perhaps the safest and sure fire way of loosing excessive fat around abdomen. With Phytolacca Berry once you loose the excessive fat and weight you don't get it back because you body takes care of itself after that and keeps you from gathering up excessive fat. It is prescribed after having a baby too, to get the tummy to loose its flab and to make it flatter and tighter. And after loosing weight with this you don't get flabby it tightens up the flab and skin along with helping your body to shed the excessive accumulation of fat around the girth
The dosage is 15 to 20 drops of the tincture in half a cup of hot water thrice a day half hour before or after meals.
Avoid Chocolates, Coffee, Mints, Red Meat and Carbonated and Alcoholic drinks while taking Homeopathic Medicines. You have to take it for at least 30 to 45 days after that you start to feel the results.
To the best of my knowledge its the safest and the most sure fire way of loosing fat and weight and keeping it of for keeps. Excellent remedy for Obese people who cant seem to shed weight despite trying.
Homeopathic Remedies can be found at all Major Herbal Stores or could be bought on line, In most of the world Homeopathic remedies are quite cheap and easy to find and they do not need a prescription.
Take care and God Bless !
