A fast way of cooking your frozen fish is to use a micro with the setting on 5 instead of 10 for 2 minutes. While you are doing this preheat your oven and cook at 425* F until you see bubbles forming on the bottom of the fish. Remember to use your tray and wrap it in aluminum first. When the oven and tray are hot, put the fish on another piece of aluminum and stick it in the oven. This will keep you from cleaning your tray. If the fish is a regular fish not fish sticks, you can put it in the oven the same way but cook at 325* F. Each toaster oven is different and you have to watch it for signs of browning or getting too done. YUCK!

I'd be more concerned with the fish smell coming out of him every day.

Toaster ovens are at least replaceable.

I would clean the whole thing with whatever cleaner you use. Odo-Ban is a good one for strong odors. I would also keep a small metal dish of baking soda in there so your husband can pull it out and put it back after he's done heating his fish. This should help control most of the odor.

Be sure to wash it after each use. Use lemon juice on it, if the fish smell is strong. You might also try a little vinegar and water. Either will work but lemon smells better

Safe cleaning of oven -- sprinklea layer (about 1.2 inch deep or so) of baking soda, then mist heavil;y from a spray bottle of water. Let sit overnight, and that should do it. Can also use this method to remove burnt on gunk from pota and pans and so forth.

In the future use aluminum foil to line you tray for the oven so it is easy to throw away (after cooling), and keeps it clean. works for us good luck. Try going and buying a new one and keep the old one outside\ in the garage for your husbands smelly fish!

clean the oven toaster. (remember to unplug it first) the fish juices and crumbs may have been left there, causing the odor.

Why are you cooking your toaster oven every day?

Once it's cool & unplugged, wipe it out with a little baking soda & water. Lemon is good too, as has been said. Also, can you line the bottom of it with heavy duty foil? If so, you can remove it when he's done.

i agree with your first answer... after i make fish and the oils drip on the bottom.. i clean the inside with lemon jucie, you can also clean your garbage disposal by cutting up a lemon and grinding it up in there, also you can put a bowl of water with a cut up lemon in your microwave and heat for five minutes and whatever was stuck on the walls will come off easy and with no gross smells...
