This is a wonderful custom. The only thing is, lots of girls do not have fathers. Do they just continue the generational curse, if any?

I think the Hispanic custom of the big fifteenth birthday debutante party is also good. The girl is expected to be a virgin. At least that might be keeping some teen pregnancies at bay for a while. Why don't Protestants have a version of this?
