No. I don't know about other beliefs, but Christianity is not about religion, it's about a relationship. We believe everyone should have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, and that's the only way to Heaven. If you knew there was only one way to Heaven, wouldn't you want to tell everyone you know?

well in a way "religion" is like that. Fortunatly you do not have to be involved in "religion" instead you can have a personal relationship with a loving creator and then you will find ways to make that relationship stronger (this will involve finding a bible believing and teaching church eventually but that too is not "religion" that is strengthing your relationship)

No, most Christians I know don't like them and I don't pass them on unless I add a disclaimer that I am only passing them on for the joke/article/poem, etc.
