I believe in the old cliche' that there is a reason for everything and I wonder.. I just wonder.. about the chance of getting a useful answer to the unintentionally cryptic question that I am about to pose below to you fellow Yahoo Questioners and Answerers..

I am hoping for people to respond in the spirit of goodwill, be the responses fun & light-hearted or serious & insightful. Please, no mean people. Let's have fun with this ;>

That said, here is my question, followed by some related key words to consider when answering:

"What should I do about Jack's bridges?"

Heart, Past Lives, Old Photographs, Journals, A Telling Letter, Leather Bag, (Wooden? Music?) Box, England.

Thank you & have a blessed day..

I am not seeking any specific answer. My question is actually rooted in a series of incredibly detailed dreams and flashes of intuition or "memory" even.. that I've had all my life- there is no physical basis for my question, which is why I love all of your creative answers (they are all hepful in their own ways). Once again, thank you ;>

Let it go. I see heart in it's medical term in this case, perhaps diseased. his past life is an influence, his actions are unfortunate, but near the end he tried to do the right thing with the old photographs and his journal. The telling letter was manipulative and misleading, but held a grain of truth about England. I'm seeing a old wooden 38s player, and since I don't know what that means it must be important. The bridges are a codename. I also see a pair of old boots.
I hope this information helps, at least a little.

Ask him if he wants to keep some of them, or all of them. If Jack is holding onto momentos from former relationships, there must be a reason, I would ask if those things are important to him and why. If they are not, go ahead and burn those bridges, if they are distressing you to have him hold onto. That said, I am assumeing he is your husband or fiance. Otherwise, if you are just the new girlfriend, and no sense of permanence is abundant in your relationship, you should not bother him about his momentos.

The only other implication I can gather from your very vague info. is that maybe Jack's bridges are really an on-going "friendship" that you suspect might be at least an emotional affair, if not physical as well. In which case, expose and burn down the bridges if they are what you feel they are.
How's that? was I close?

Jack left, but his bridges remain.
bridges he crossed, bridges he burned
bridges he lost, bridges he spurned.

I came across his picture, when he was young and free
his letters I keep in a leather bag, along with the journals
he sent to me

After his travels are over, one day he may be back
So I keep all the bridges safe
that only belong to Jack.
